Feeling out of control, stuck and on edge?

It feels like you are trapped in a body that can’t relax and is always on guard.

No matter how much you try to think positively or use your meditation app you’re still on edge and can’t rest.

You used to enjoy driving around town or being intimate with your partner but those now come with an added weight or fear.

It’s possible you even feel anger...angry at yourself, blaming yourself for what happened to you.

You may be wondering whether you’ve experienced a traumatic event or not. Whether it’s abuse, a car crash, being neglected, experiencing oppression or physical harm, there is  something that triggers you daily.

You can heal trauma.

When a traumatic event occurs, our bodies go into fight, flight or freeze mode. Once the event is over our bodies don’t just switch back to “normal” and can stay in this survival mode for years.

Over time it causes physical, emotional, and psychological deterioration.

The truth is though, your body and brain want to heal and in fact, when trauma is healed you can experience incredible resilience.

How does feeling more confident, courageous, and connected sound?

Therapy can help.

One of the most effective and efficient ways to heal trauma is through an evidence-based practice called Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

EMDR goes to the root of what is causing pain in your life and helps create lasting wellness.

While EMDR will not make you forget any memories, it will help you to relate to stressful things from a constructive place.

As one client said to me after completing the EMDR work together, “I wish I had known feeling this good was possible a long time ago.”

Healing trauma can liberate you in all areas of life. You can start to show up more fully in relationships, experience more fun and ease throughout the day, and have more mental real estate for what you want vs. what you fear.

If you’re ready to let go of trauma, then let’s get started!
