Why do I always feel like I’m not enough?

When you got promoted it felt like a fluke and when you’re on a date with someone new you feel like a chameleon.

Instagram easily becomes a dark hole of comparison and there’s a nagging voice in your head that says, “you’ll never be enough.”

Your bookshelves are full of self-help books and you sometimes wonder if you are addicted to self-improvement.

Low self-esteem makes you feel like an imposter who always has to prove herself. You desperately just want to feel comfortable and confident in who you are.

Knowing your worth is possible.

We have been taught by dominant culture that in order to be worthy we must always be busy, must constantly work on ourselves and we must hide the parts of us that aren’t “perfect.” Without a secure sense of self, depression and anxiety can develop, and our relationships start to suffer.

Thankfully, low self-esteem is not a terminal issue. There are things you can do to create a secure sense of self and feel confident in who you are.

Getting out of imposter syndrome and improving your self-esteem is possible!

Realizing you are enough.

There’s no question that media, society, and sometimes even our own upbringings have shaped us to see ourselves as “not enough” or “too much.”

Therapy helps us understand what actually set in motion these unhelpful thoughts. From there we can begin to literally rewire our brains so we can see ourselves and the world in a more supportive and realistic way.

Often there is healing that needs to occur from past experiences that communicated to you that somehow you weren’t enough.

Knowing who you are and being incredibly proud and confident in that person is possible. You can experience more authentic and deep relationships, develop life giving boundaries, and achieve your goals.

It’s time for a change.

One of my favorite parts of being a therapist is witnessing people develop a secure sense of self and breakthrough old, limiting ways of being.

I have received specialized training in creating a worthiness mindset. We can work through the resistance that can arise when making change so you can truly embody this way of being.

I am confident that we can tap into your confidence and create a life based on knowing your worth.

You deserve to feel confident and the world needs more womxn living authentically and audaciously into who they truly are.
