Sensorimotor processes support individuals in shifting neurological patterns through targeting the body’s habits of movement, posture, and emotional dysregulation.

Leah’s goal is to create trusting therapeutic relationships that help individuals to create positive shifts in their lives. She is a certified mindfulness instructor who defines mindfulness as “noticing what is happening right now,” creating the space to make positive change in one’s life. Leah supports individuals to bring compassionate awareness to their experiences, so that they can break patterns which no longer serve them. She works from a place of non-judgmental discernment. This means encouraging individuals not to judge their behaviors, but rather to openly notice their impact, cultivate increased self-compassion, and from this place of self-love move towards greater harmony in their lives.

Leah received her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Childhood Development and Education (magna cum laude) from New York University, and her Master's Degree in Social Work (summa cum laude) from Colorado State University.
